FAQ

At GGA Connect, we aim to make your experience as smooth and transparent as possible. Whether you’re applying for work or looking to hire, here are answers to some of the most common questions we receive.

For Job Seekers

Do I need experience to apply?

We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and those new to the sector. For healthcare roles, relevant training or transferable skills are helpful — and we can guide you through any additional requirements.

We recruit for a variety of positions in healthcare and hospitality. These include healthcare assistants, support workers, nurses, kitchen staff, porters, and waiting staff. Roles vary by region and availability.

Yes. Many of our roles offer flexible shifts or part-time hours. During registration, let us know your availability so we can match you accordingly.

Only certain clinical roles require CORU registration — such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers. If you’re unsure, our team can advise you during the application process.

We’ll help with Garda vetting, registration, and sourcing any training you might need for your role.

It depends on how quickly you provide the necessary documents. Once everything is in place, we aim to match you with a suitable employer as soon as possible.

Yes — we work with applicants from outside Ireland and offer support with relocation, documentation, and job matching. You can apply before or after arriving in Ireland.

Most non-EU/EEA applicants will need a valid work permit to work in Ireland. We’ll help you understand what type of visa you may need and guide you through the process, but you’ll still need to apply through Irish immigration services directly.

For Employers

What types of staff do you supply?

We recruit healthcare assistants, nurses, support workers, doctors, allied health professionals, and hospitality staff such as kitchen and front-of-house teams. We also provide admin and coordination staff where needed.

Yes. We offer temporary staffing solutions to help with last-minute cover, sick leave, or peak periods.

Absolutely. We help you find long-term staff suited to your team and work environment — carefully matched and fully vetted.

Yes — through our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model, we can manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple hires or ongoing contracts.

All candidates go through Garda vetting and document checks. For regulated roles, we also assist with CORU verification and ensure all required certifications are in place.
